Charles Barsam J.D.

Charles Barsam is a sole practitioner attorney in Newport Beach, California. His practice areas include business and real estate, specializing in both litigation and transactions. Mr. Barsam's clients include numerous real estate brokers and investors, as well as a variety of high tech, service and manufacturing enterprises.

Having received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from U.C.L.A. and obtained a Juris Doctorate from Hastings College of Law, Mr. Barsam has been practicing law since 1980.

Mr. Barsam has extensive trial experience, having successfully litigated before virtually all courts and arbitration tribunals in Southern California. In addition, Mr. Barsam has served as an arbitrator on a variety of business and real estate disputes referred to him by the Orange County Superior Court.

Mr. Barsam is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Datatech Electronics, Inc., a Houston, Texas based high tech wire and cable distributor. Mr. Barsam served as a Director and Western Development Chairman of the Armenian Assembly of America, and was founder and first President of the Orange County Armenian Professional Society. Mr. Barsam served as a Director of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County and is presently on the Board of Directors of the Armenian Eyecare Project .

Mr. Barsam lives in Huntington Beach with his wife, Peggy, and two children, Taleen and Nicholas. He enjoys outdoor sports, particularly tennis and basketball, as well as travel to the wine country.
