Julian Gangolli

Mr. Julian Gangolli is the Corporate Vice President and President North America Pharmaceuticals for Allergan, Inc., where he is responsible for all commercial pharmaceutical operations for the United States and Canada.

Mr. Gangolli has more than 2 decades of senior management experience with large pharmaceutical, specialty pharmaceutical, and start‐up biotechnology companies.

In his current role, Mr. Gangolli oversees six specialty sales forces deployed across optometry and ophthalmology, neurology, urology and dermatology and 5 marketing business units that support the specialty areas of managed healthcare; human resources and finance. Mr. Gangolli is also a member of Allergan’s commercial committee, which oversees worldwide commercial operations, strategic planning and business development, and a member of the new products development committee.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Gangolli was the Senior Vice President, US Eye Care at Allergan for 5-years. During that time, the division launched 8 new products, helping to propel growth at more than 20% a year over the 5 year period.

Mr. Gangolli joined Allergan from VIVUS, Inc., where he was Vice President Sales and Marketing. His responsibilities included facilitating the successful transition of the company from a research and development start‐up operation into a successful niche pharmaceutical company.

Prior to VIVUS, Mr. Gangolli was the Group Product Director for Female Health Care and Pain in the US Marketing Division for Syntex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Gangolli started his career in pharmaceutical sales and marketing with Ortho-Cilag Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. a UK subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson.

Mr. Gangolli received a BSc (Honors) in Applied Chemistry and Business Studies from Kingston University in England.
