
WATCH: Like Dominos… Doctors Save Sight of Six Armenian Infants

Two years ago, the EyeCare Project launched a new initiative to eliminate infant blindness from ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) in Armenia. ROP is a disorder where infants who were born premature tend to lose their vision and go blind. The program had world-class ophthalmologists from the United States, Australia and Armenia gather in Armenian city of Yerevan for a conference to train local physicians on how to diagnose and treat infants afflicted by this disease.
