Monthly giving provides a steady and cost-effective source of income for the EyeCare Project. And because your monthly donation is processed automatically, you help us reduce our costs—which allows us to fund more programs and help more people in Armenia.
Provide an eye exam and medical treatment for one child and prevent child blindness—$25 Eyes and vision rank among the most important health issues in children and yet, most children in Armenia begin school without an eye exam. Ensure that a child in Armenia receives eye care services that will avoid low vision and blindness. Includes examinations, health education, eyeglasses and medication for 12 children each year.
Restore sight to a blind person—$50 Provide sight-restoring Cataract surgery for one adult on the mobile Eye Hospital bringing hope for the future and changing a life. A simple and affordable 15-minute surgery can remove a cataract and restore sight. Your monthly pledge can provide for surgery with vision-correcting intraocular lens implant, post-operative care and medications. Your pledge means that each year12 Armenians will see again!
Provide Eyeglasses for five children or adults—$100 Refractive errors ( near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism) can be easily diagnosed and corrected with eyeglasses, yet thousands of Armenians do not have access to basic services. Individuals and families are frequently pushed into a cycle of deepening poverty because of their inability to see well. Your kindness and support will not only bring sight to those in need by providing eye examinations, prescriptions and eyeglasses, but you will change lives—60 in a year.
As an online monthly donor, you will be registering to make a credit card donation every month. After you make your initial donation, future donations will be automatically charged to your credit card. For example, if you choose to make a monthly donation of $50 today, your next donation of $50 will be automatically charged to your account in exactly one month to the day, and each subsequent month thereafter.
Each month you will receive an email receipt for your donation for that period. After your initial donation, you will also receive an email message with a password and a link to the Pledge Donor Center, where you can review your transaction history, update your personal information (name, address, login and password) and your donation information (dollar amount, credit card information, etc.).
