Community outreach and education is a critical component in preventing eye disease and unnecessary blindness.

Sponsor four community public education classes for families in remote villages on eye care and safety.  Teaches parents on how to be aware of the signs and symptoms of eye diseases and disorders, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis and intervention to prevent long-term problems.  Also teaches families how to follow safety precautions to prevent eye injuries.
